Introduction
The East Asia Conference on the Philosophy of Law is the largest one in the field of Jurisprudence and Philosophy of Law, which is periodically held in this area. From the first conference held by Tokyo University and Doshisha University in 1996, there were six conferences held respectively in Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Hongkong and Taipei. The 7th East Asian Conference will be hosted by the Jurisprudence Center in Jilin University(one of the key research institutes of Humanities and Social Science listed by the Ministry of Education, P.R.China). Scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Mongolia、Russia, North America and other countries will be invited to participate in this conference.
The 7th East Asian Conference on Philosophy of Law will be held in the Beiyuan Hotel from Sept 21 to 22. We sincerely welcome you to be our guests in Changchun, which is the center of the Northeast of China, also entitled as ‘the Forest City’, ‘the Auto City’, ‘the Movie City’ and ‘the High-tech City’. The greening rate of Changchun is 38.8%，which is pretty high in China. And Changchun also has the largest artificial forest in Asia, i.e., the Jingyuetan forest park. At the same time, Changchun has always been regarded as the birthplace for the China auto industry. The First Auto Workshop in Changchun is the largest base for the researching and manufacturing of automobile. The Changchun Film Studio is also the first studio in China after the liberation. Changchun also has the first film paradise in China and other historical sites, such as the Manchukuo Palace, the towers built in Liao Dynasty, etc.
Jilin University is distinguished by innovative research and scholarship across the widest range of disciplines. Registration and Submission
（A）Registration
1．Participants should file in the registration form and send the completed form via email to eastasia@vip.163.com before July 1, 2008.
2．The preparation committee will confirm your registration by email within a week after receiving your registration. If you do not receive our confirmation e-mail within one week, please contact us.
（B）Fee
1．A registration fee will be charged, which is RMB600 or USD 80 per person befor April 1, 2008 and RMB 800 or USD 100 per person after April 1, 2008.
2．The fee must be paid in cash when you check in.
（C）Submission
1．Principlely every participant should submit his or her paper to the conference. Papers shall be submitted to eastasia@vip.163.com via email by July 1, 2008. Please submit the paper in attachment and with Word format.
2．The paper should include an abstract (2000-3000 words), which will be translated by the preparation committee. Please write with Microsoft Word versions.

Check In and Reception
（A）Check In
1．Participants should check in before Sept 20, 2008. The location is the Beiyuan Hotel of Changchun, which address is No. 4059, Renmin Street, Chaoyang district, Changchun City.
2．If you need to be picked up from the Changchun railway Station or the Changchun Longjia airport international, please leave detailed information about your travel to eastasia@vip.163.com before your departure.
（B）Accommodation
The host will provide accommodation for all the participants from Sept 20 to Sept 23, 2008, but participants should pay the accommodation expenses.
（C）Other Service
1．The travel desk of Beiyuan hotel can provide ticket(Airplane or Train) booking service for participants. Tel: 86-431-88498811、88498822.
2．The host can help to contact travel agency for those participants who want to pay a visit to the Changbai Moutain or Jian City in Jiin Province. The fee will be paid by travellers themselves.
